    How to Create Perfect Flares

    1. Cut tubing square using a proper tube cutter
    2. Deburr inside and outside — remove all burrs
    3. Slide flare nut on before flaring
    4. Select correct bar size and position tubing to correct depth
    5. Slip yoke over bar and turn handle to create 45° flare
    6. Back off and inspect for smooth, even flare

    How to Swage Tubing

    1. Cut tubing square and deburr inside and outside
    2. Select correct swaging adapter for tubing size
    3. Install adapter in yoke in place of flaring cone
    4. Position tubing and turn handle — adapter expands tubing end
    5. Back off and test fit with mating tube
